Re: Pacbrake issues
The new wiring protocol that Brett talked about is Pacbrake Service Bulletin 177, dated August 27, 2005. Available free on the internet or through pacbrake.com. Wire from pressure switch works the activator of the existing relay, minimal wiring.

Re: ENGINE OIL AND FILTER RECOMENDATIONS
Older engines do not RESPECT the use of full synthetic oils. They are stuck on old dinosaur/conventional oils. Respect to me means adding an extended time between oil changes. I ended up using Shell RotellaT5 because it was on sale locally at the same as T4 and will change at 5000 miles no matter wh...

Re: Fire escape windows - how to use?
My screens slide open in the track as do most. I know this because I get beer given to me through the window and I have not had to "kick out" a single screen. Again any window large enough to get out of IS an escape window.

Re: Allison 3060 transmission
The square cut gaskets are Allison part # 29501469. Mel and I discussed this back in 2021 on this forum. I had a hard time finding square ones anyway, so I reused my old ones as they were just a separation seal and not a "leaker" issue seal. I am happy with that!

Re: Upgrade batteries to LiFePO4 Battery and problems with Prosine Inverter
A person I know from the UP had the same problem with his Prosine and he returned the Chins/Amperetime/Zooms/Redo battery (all the same company) and got refunded. I told him to go back to his flooded lead acids. I always precharge my inverter with a capacitor before hooking up my 600ah of Zooms batt...
