Re: 93 Safari Serengeti Motorhome For Sale

I will get pics of it hosted this weekend and put them here. No, the door will not shut. The front windows are not covered as of right now, but I will get a big tarp to cover them. I climbed up on a ladder and nothing is damaged on the roof surprisingly.

93 Safari Serengeti Motorhome For Sale

I am selling this whole or parting it out. Has less than 70k miles on it. Detroit diesel with a turbo, Allison transmission, good tires, (couple less than a year old and no miles). Coach was caught in a tornado, so most of the glass is broken and the door has a dent in it. Coach is savable but not s...

Introductions

This is actually my first post even though I was a member of the other group, I wasn’t able to figure out how to post or follow the topics. This transfer to a forum environment that I am familiar and very comfortable with is a welcome change. I thought it would be nice if everyone posted a little ab...

Re: Water on floor, not roof leak

There no baffles in the water tank and it is really moving around when you drive down the road. My Trek has water coming out the overflow  with  1/4 tank as I drive down the road.     Mike Sent from my iPhone On Jun 30, 2015, at 7:48 AM, 'nanandpete@...' nanandpete@... Re: Heating alternatives.

Ceramic heaters are similar to catalytic   heaters only they have a ceramic  block rather than a pad. I have two of them, a one block without a thermostat that I use in the Trek and a three block with a thermostat that I used in the Cheetah. The thermostat is worthwhile, space is an issue in the T...

Re: Equalizing batteries (was: Furnace draining batteries)

Equalization of the batteries causes them to bubble and break up the deposits on  the plates. When you are hooked up all the time you have very little activity in the batteries and equalization is necessary. If you dry camp and use solar there is much more activity in your batteries and equaliza...

I'm talking about the ceramic propane heaters you can get them with a thermostat and they will go on and off all night.. They have built in oxygen sensors for those that think these coaches are air tight. I prefer the comforter however.    Mike  2003 Trek 26 Sent from my iPhone On Apr 23, 2015, at 4...

Buy a down comforter. The best way to have heat all night is to use a ceramic heater.  Mike. 2003 Trek 26 Sent from my iPhone On Apr 23, 2015, at 1:11 PM, daveg daveg2@...
