Re: Replacement part for Kwikee steps

Does someone with Kwikee steps Series 27 have replacement parts for gearbox AND motor? I have found this but they say that it is "RV Gear Box Linkage Fit For Step Series 22, 23, 28A, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38 and 40" (27 is not included in the list).

Thanks keegan8 for your answer. Do you also have a replacement part for the gear/linkage?

Replacement part for Kwikee steps

Hello everyone, the motor of my steps has died, and I would like to proceed with its replacement. I believe this motor is a Kwikee brand (based on other posts on this forum). Can anyone tell me what I can replace this motor with? I found a Maureen brand motor on Amazon that seems suitable, but I'm n...

Re: Engine over heating: checking list

Thank you Brett, I will do that. Meanwhile, can someone tell me the part numbers for the 2 TSU and for the thermostat? I've seen CAT 3126 thermostats that are 190, others are 177 degrees.
Regards

Re: Engine over heating: checking list

Checked the belt and it seems to be good. The water temp gauge at the back shows value in the normal range (little bit high though): 215-220. The water temp gauge at the front always shows 280 after starting the engine (even after hours being cold). I could make wirings from the back to the front if...

Engine over heating: checking list

Hi everyone, My MH was in a camping last 3 months and I took the road last weekend. After 2-3 miles, water temp was 280 (red light). I stopped as soon as I can, add coolant (it was not completely full) and let the engine runs for 3-4 minutes. Temperature decreased to normal (I don't remember exactly...

Re: Can Dometic DM2852 replace Norcold 682?

Thanks Mel, I'll take a look for sure. Out of curiosity, do you still have the original Norcold 682 in your Sahara 96?

Can Dometic DM2852 replace Norcold 682?

Hi everyone, My previous post was about the relative merits of the residential vs gas/elec refrigerator. Since then I've found a good opportunity, it's a reconditioned Dometic DM2852 that sells for 1000$. They say on this site that it can replace the Norcold 682 BUT they also say that... Some of the...
