An Ode to SafariToonces, written by ChatGPI
In memory of SafariToonces, our cherished motorhome, Named after Toonces, the Maine Coon's noble roam. Toonces left us early, a void in hearts he did impart, So SafariToonces was born, a symbol of his heart.A mural of a tiger, resting on the rear, Captured Toonces' spirit, forever held dear. With a ...

Re: Shocks or airlift bags for 2005 30PDD W22
Hi Mark I am fairly certain that Koni will have shocks for your coach. They are the premier supplier of shocks. Call and verify the exact model. It is all based on weigh, pin/bolt size in the eye and length. I would suggest using all the same shocks and not to mix and match. The difference in handli...

Re: Shocks or airlift bags for 2005 30PDD W22
My 2000 Continental suffered from the same diving, rolling bounding all over the road. I posted a project with all the details on this site. Or follow the link in my signature. I don't think changing the air bags will make any difference. The air bags are the equivalent of springs. What stops the bo...

Re: Still chasing an electrical problem.
This may not be the same as your problem but I had an intermittent problem with the Hurricane heater. It would run then drop out. One of the reasons was a weak resetable relay in the electrical bay. It should have conducted up to 20 amps but opened at less than 5amps. The way I found it was to bypas...

Re: Cabinetry Drawer Guides Replacement
Hi Chuck All my rails mount to the inside rear face of front cabinet. There is a strip of wood as per the pictures. So A is 21 3/8", therefore front 20221007_145611.jpg to the slide with the rear bracket is 21 3/8". The slide itself is 19.5". This allows the entire drawer to fully ext...

Re: Norcold 1200 Replacement - Residential Fridge Upgrade
Thank you, sorry that I missed your post. I have been enslaved with major house a garage repairs and have not done much on the Safari. Here are some pictures, but I think there are pictures in the cabinet project for the drawer alongside the fridge.

Re: Cabinetry Drawer Guides Replacement
I have not seen your type of slides. I would have been caught as well. One place you might look for the expensive slides you mention, is in the link below. The first the slides I used for the home entertainment cabinet were from Home Depot but were also found on eBay which were from China and they w...

Re: Cabinetry Drawer Guides Replacement
Sorry, I have been occupied with changing the house roof, garage roof and walls and motor home pad and haven't kept up. I measured the depth from the leading inside edge of the cabinet to the rear of the cabinet. I would not use the existing hardware as the reference. I then picked the maximum slide...

Cabinetry Drawer Guides Replacement
The original cabinetry drawer guides had become severely worn on several cabinets and were causing a problem opening and closing the drawers. As well, a number of the drawers had hardware that was broken and falling apart and there was no easy way to replace the parts. So the all the original drawer...
