Re: Water Tank Overflow atten: you engineers

'Art...  yours and ours must be the same... we fill, if it overflows, we shut it off, it stops... and we drive... we have not experienced any siphoning that I know of.. and we have a full tank when we get where we are going.  Perhaps the Serengeti's in 96 were different than the others? Karen and St...

Re: questions to group

'Agreed on the *adjust the driver* ... what we noticed was the enhanced seating was also a part of making our ride more comfortable, and when we get somewhere, we are not beat and tired out either from a long drive (compared to our older gasser rig or towing a pull behind trailer)  Karen and Steve19...

Re: Differential

'Oh well, our easy answer is our toad Tracker isn't allowed to be towed over 55mph.  So that solves that.  Plus, we hate the interstates and LOVE to take the back roads.. the highways and byways and see stuff other than billboards and truck stops.  LOL  ps went and toured a friends brand spanking ne...

Re: Original interior fabrics

'Hey Sherry!  thanks for the info!  I just called there and asked if  they had our spread in king size (figure I will have a better chance being odd size and not too many rigs had the king bed)  she said just email her a photo of it and she will see if she finds a match!  how nice is  that? Have not...

Re: Hello everyone!

'Welcome!   We noticed a huge difference in the ride from changing from a gasser Coachmen to our Safari diesel.   Not to mention the peace and quiet up front in the cockpit area without having to talk over the droning engine noise!  Enjoy!  -- KarenInTheWoods ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*...

Re: Mechanic assist to under bed?

'Yah.. our bad experience was a local repair place, not a Cat dealer.   Not to mention that we brought it there for an exhaust manifold and ended up replacing both heads.... because they didnt tighten down the pushrods correctly and we blew out all the oil 60 miles down the road! ARGGHHHHHH The owne...

Re: Mechanic assist to under bed?

' A long time ago we left it up to the mechanics in our Coachman gasser  motorhome to take care of our rig... not only was it left OPEN all night long, but their greasy boots in and out on my light green carpeting and handwoven woolen rugs just about blew my stack!   Not to mention the greasy hand p...
