Re: Yahoo hosted Safari site going away
'It appears the only notice of the impending shut down is found on Yahoo, they don't care or want us! As a possible can of worms, Perhaps IF Safari International were to set up an open their forum up (it really looks like a dying forum now) such as http://forum.dieselrvclub.org/index.php we would st...

Re: Stainless steel bolts/screws etc. (was: tighten water pump belt)
'If you are interested in understanding fasteners there is a very good article in the Dec 2019 issue of Hot Rod magazine starting on page 74. Covers a lot for just part 1 even if a lot of it comes from a aftermarket supplier.

Re: 1998 Safari Sahara Head Lights Not Working
'Joel, Under the "hood" you will find a buss bar of electrical connections, (see Jim's schematics) make sure the connections are tight. Also check ground connections. Are the lights good? Is it both low and high beams? When you get it working consider adding relays and larger wire to power...

Re: winterizing 1998 39' safari sarengeti
'Winterize water systems Recommendation, it might not work with every coach: Blow Out the System With Compressed Air This is perhaps the easiest method, but it requires an oil less air compressor and a “blow out plug”. The major drawback to this method is that you can’t be 100 percent sure that all...

Re: Lippert waste hose
'Robert, As great as it sounds I would run away from this system. Don't know how many sewer hoses I've replaced over the years but I would hate to spring a leak in the middle of nowhere and have such a specialized hose to try and find. Keep it simple! Or go whole hog with a Macerator Pump ( https://...

Re: General AC question on toad
'Bob, Thanks for the suggestion. What I found was indeed an air gap problem. I was able to use an impact to remove the nut holding the face of the electric clutch in place and remove said plate. Gap of the engagement faces is controlled by a thin bushing/washer, which I removed and used a wire wheel...

'Jim, I have no problem reading a pdf or jpg etc if the file is present. I was saying the file wasn't present in the digest or in the groups conversion on Yahoo, but must be there in individual emails. So it's a Yahoo issue. On my android tablet I use Xodo to read pdfs, Opera for the browser and Blu...
