Re: Changing Fuel Filters

'Robert, When you  say "manually priming the filters", you are saying DO NOT pour fuel into the filters before attaching them to the filter holders, which is correct. I just wanted to make it clear to anyone following, that CAT recommends that fuel filters AND the oil filter should be moun...

Re: Yahoo hosted Safari site going away

'The information on the posted link clearly talks to PUBLIC groups, saying they will cease to exist, and be converted to private groups.  It doesn't seem clear either way as to whether the lost features apply to both public and private groups or just public groups.

Re: Norcold 9182 Constantly Pulls DC

'Maybe it was asked and answered and I missed it. Have you checked the water level in your batteries?  They will use water if left on a trickle charge from the inverter when connected to shore power months on end.  I believe all refrigerators use 12 volts to the control board, regardless whether ope...

Re: 2000/2001 bedroom slide

'Bill, I will be across town working on my coach off and on this week if you need me to check out anything or take a picture of the slide mechanism.  I have a pair of Koni's to put on the front (the preferred P/N) and a brand spanking new stud extender and jam nut for my right front wheel simulator....

Re: 2000/2001 bedroom slide

'Bill Edwards, I really don't have any experience with the bedroom slide, as mine has never given me trouble, but if the motor can be disassembled, you might check the brushes.  I got stuck out on the river last week with a boat that abruptly would not start. I pulled the starter off yesterday and t...

Re: My slide out problems bandaided.

'Pat, Search the files for RVA manuals up loaded by Davidbleddy in Feb.  Keep scrolling down ,the files are not in any of the folders. You will see that the levelers and the hydraulic slide share the same pump and reservoir.  Safari specifies that you extend and retract the slide with the levelers r...

'All, et al, I started to post the picture of a  wild goose...   a wild goose running, no,a wild goose being chased,  but decided to not waste the bandwidth.  When someone asks for help, it sounds like there is a need to specifically ask them "what work was done before the the problem arose?  W...

Re: Blown Front Leveler Seal?

'Robert, As you may have discovered,  replacement jacks from RVA are north of $800 and currently back ordered.  I can't recall if I read it here or elsewhere (irv2?),  but the jacks can be rebuilt by any competent shop that repairs hydraulic cylinders. The skanky looking lower tube that extends out ...

'Dog, You probably know this, but you need to change both tubes on any corner AND keep the same number of shims in the front and rear tubes of each corner.
