Re: Roof Coating

' I've seen this debate before....but....I'll toss it out for consideration.  Consider Henry's TropiCool roof coat.  It's 100% silicone, lifetime guarantee - for what that's worth -and one coat.  It's Energy Star Certified.  I put it on my mobile home in the Nevada desert and on my  1995 Safari Sere...

Re: Possible Solenoid issue

'Robert: I don't think your terminology is correct.  I think you are talking about a battery isolator.  And, for sur, a bad one can raise havoc with your battery installation. Re: transmission dip stick

'There is an extension tube cobbled in to extend the transmission
dipstick out to the service bay.  There is an "O" ring where it fits in
to the case.  Mine was leaking there.

Re: Refrigerator [was: Radiator replacement]

'Robert:

If you haven't bought a refrigeration cooling unit yet,  I suggest you
have a look here: https://rvcoolingunit.com/

I think David Force is the owner, sells the superior Amish-built cooling
units.

'Robert and all: I've been reading the horror stories about wood rot of various kinds and places.  I feel I MUST pass along some information that arises from many years of pretty serious involvement in boating.  Wood rot is/was a serious problem in the boating world.  Where the problem is not too se...

Re: 120v Inverter Breaker TRIPPING

'Jim said:  First, one clarification that is driving me nuts; a short drive. When a breaker is overloaded, it "trips". To "reset" it, you normally push the handle hard toward OFF until it clicks and then you can turn it on again. Thank you! It was driving me nuts too. I think I u...
