Re: Fuel Gauge Always Reading Past Full

'Joe, The gauge is good.  You have lost continuity back the sender in the tank.  Low resistance makes the gauge read empty, high resistance (open circuit) makes it read full or full+. The resistor on the back of the gauge is there to calibrate the gauge to match the sender.  Ground the sender line a...

Re: Ride heighth adjustment

'Robert,
Proper ride height ensures that the drive shaft angle between the trans output and the differential is minimized and proper steering geometry is maintained up front.

Re: Fuel Gauge Reading Incorrectly

'Actually an open circuit will peg the gauge.  Long story short, I traced the line on my gauge when it pegged and showed continuity all the way to the sender.  I began to remove the gauge from the dash for further testing and the needle moved off of full++.  It was literally stuck.  Apparently if th...

'Mel,
Apparently the photo didn't come through.  It was a battery powered LED trouble light wand branded with the CAT logo. 600 lumens, $27.  They had 200 and 400 lumens for much less, so the 600 is overkill unless you have a C12.

Mel,
Do you know if this will work with a Cummins, or do I need a different one for my generator? (Asking for a friend)

Re: Dewinterizing Splendide Comb-o-matic 6000

'Congratulations on the new acquisition.  If you do not have a manual for the Splendide, download one from their website. To dewinterise, ensure that supply hoses are in place and tight.  Ensure that the drain hose is properly in place, with no kinks. Ensure that the drain filter on the lower right ...

Re: How to get to the engine ?

'Phil, I am guessing you have a bedroom slide and a closet across the back wall of the coach. My Zanzibar access door is maybe 12 inches wide and 2 1/2 to 3 feet long and is cut into the platform between the side of the bed and the closet.  Doing much of anything on the top side of the engine is a p...
