2001 Safari Zanzibar 3646 brochure

'My wife and I have discovered a layout for a 3646 Zanzibar that we absolutely love. I'm hoping someone in the group has an old sales brochure they could share (just looking for a scan) so we can know the details of the layout for our future searches. Any accounts you can share with the 2001 models ...

Re: Family Friendly Campsites in NH

'We did a lot of looking before settling on a Trek last summer. Ended up finding one on a dealer lot in San Diego, CA. After extensive photos and phone calls, I flew out for final inspection and drove it back! My 5 day shake down tour... :) I wouldn't change how we did it though. It was a great trip...

Family Friendly Campsites in NH

'Looking for a great place to take our '94 Trek for some weekend outings with our 2 & 4 year old children. Don't use a toad, so ideally the site would be all inclusive. Don't mind scenic rides on the way either. We found Jellystone (we'll be there in June if anyone wants to drop by...) and we've...

2003 Trek Interior photos

'For those as curious as I about what the interior of the new Treks
looked like, I found some shots on a dealer site and have added them
to the 2003 Trek Photo album.

Enjoy!

Re: Trek & RV Consumer Group

'Hogwash! I read the same reports before recently buying my '93 Trek. If you scan the archives you'll see the same answers to those you've already gotten. There are aftermarket products if you like a tighter ride than your Trek may offer, but safety should not be a concern. I bought mine on the west...

Re: Just got me an older Serengeti ('89)..can't close up step..

'You found the switch, just sounds like it's not working. Its the switch that also turns on the step light. Have you tried opening/closing the door with this switch on? There should be a small magnetic sensor between the door and the frame that tells the step when to retract/deploy. You may have a s...

Re: Recovering from a "dead-bed"

'If you don't now, I would suggest carrying a simple tool set onboard. In my case, I unbolted the rear bed tracks to free the gears. As I see it, you now have two choices: 1. disconnect the electrical and bring the bed totally down and out of the way for driving (as I did). 2. Manually lift the bed ...
