Re: Pacbrake...and new Ford Vacuum Pump for Cruise

I have the vacuum pump with me and plan to install this trip. But have honestly pondered while under Connie how to actually get to it to be able to do the replacement. I saw two bolts in existing OEM pump that I should be able to get removed. What angle and from where did you do the actual replaceme...

Fuel solenoid and plug revisited

‘95 Continental, 8.3L Cummins. Fuel shut off solenoid and wiring questions. I’ve owned rig since early 2000. Ok, you may recall I replaced my fuel solenoid the week around Memorial Day weekend. Yea, I know that was several months ago. But it has now moved to top of my projects list. Old one was indi...

Re: Fuel solenoid needs ‘male’ plug

John, thanks for the link. That is the male plug or appears to be that I want to use. Apologize for misleading the readers here. Of the two female plugs shown, one came from the older defective solenoid. So it is just the one female plug that I’m concerned about and way back when I changed it out or...

Fuel solenoid needs ‘male’ plug

For the electrical tech savvy folks, can you tell me what, where, name, etc for the ‘male’ plug to fit this female? I’m changing out my fuel solenoid on Bosch pump, 1995 8.3L Cummins in Continental, —>Connie. I replaced it 13 Yrs ago and spliced it in. I’m wanting to wire in the male plug so I can p...

Re: Where to have TCM/TCU rebuilt? Or order a new one?

Thanks Jim. Appreciate the feedback. Update: he got it started by warming up the TCM/ECU and finally did the diagnostic test. I believe at D2 it populated the 69-32 code which the Transmission repair site basically states to stop there and mail it in. As an FYI to those who like to DIY down to the c...

Re: Where to have TCM/TCU rebuilt? Or order a new one?

John, Brett, AS Always this team comes through! Greatly appreciate yalls input. My cousin is calling them this morning. And with John's link to their pdf TS (which later went back and navigated to via their site) I think he will follow their TS'ing advice and see what he comes up with. The coach did...
