Benzdoc, Some of the causes that I recall on this forum from long ago, for these symptoms, were ignition switch or the solenoid that is energized by the ignition switch. You could also use those same ports if you are hooked up to city water, allowing you to use hot and cold water outside.

It is very likely that the two connections on the bottom are for black tank and gray tank rinse, after you dump the tanks. You could probably chase the lines down and see that they likely go to the black and gray water tanks. The two water outlets, with the blue valves are likely how and cold water ...

I agree, I don't care for it, never did. That said, your reply is sort of possibly jogging my memory (I think). For some reason, I am recollecting that some have manually activated the abs motor, to help bleed the brakes, but then again, it could be just my mind playing tricks on me.
