Replacing Toyo tires

I'm replacing my rear tires. Originals are Toyo M120Z 255/70R22.5. With full weight on the ground, I have 2.75" clearance between them. I've seen recommendations for 265/70R22.5 and 275/65R22.5 for better weight handling. Seems like tire diameter is the most critical so the speedometer stays co...

Re: SealBest:

Thanks, Mel.  I emailed SealBest.  They replied that both the 10yr and the 15yr are rated for fiberglass, but to rough up the surface for better adhesion.  The 7yr warranty is no longer available.  I believe I'll go with the 15yr SealBest. Re: Henry 887HS Tropicool on Filon roofs?

Thanks, Mel.  Bookmarked.  I believe this is the most recommended.  My only concern is that the technical document doesn't mention fiberglass.... On 6/6/2016 7:33 AM, stuplich@... Henry 887HS Tropicool on Filon roofs?

Has anyone tried the Henry 887HS Tropicool roofing on our Filon roofs? It's available at Home Depot. It has a lifetime warranty. It was designed for tropical conditions, extremely hot and extremely wet, but is good anywhere. I emailed Henry, first for simply fiberglass. They say this is the only one...

Re: Camera questions

Thanks, Jim.  I appreciate the both the tip on distraction and the warning about the toad disappearing.  Warned ahead of time, that becomes a good reminder to remember to turn off the turn signal! Re: Camera questions

I too have a flat screen TV over my head, but it's way out of my sight so don't use it for rear view camera.  My 7" screen Garmin RV LMT760 GPS is dead center right in front of my steering wheel.  It is exactly in line with my two physical rear view mirrors.  I'm plugging my backup camera into ...

Re: Camera questions

Hi, Dick, I got it on not being able to pull it with the old cable.  I'll route it down and along the frame.  My priority goal is the backup camera to my camper GPS.  I plan on adding the multiple window monitor and side cameras later.  I bought the Optimo Electronics OP 30M because it doesn't have ...

Re: Camera questions

I don't want wireless.  I already own the camera and cable.  I have a 66' cable and a 30' coach, so I'll run it along the frame if I can't open up the cable route in the roof.  I'd prefer to gain access to the roof route if I can.    Is that route next to the air conditioning duct or down one side? ...

Camera questions

I would like to replace the sheet of plastic in my backup camera housing with a piece of glass.  It's glued in with a brownish yellow glue.  Can anyone tell me what that glue is and how to best remove it?  I plan to duct tape the new cable to  the existing TV cable and hope it pulls freely.  Can any...

Re: hurriance heater on 1999 safari continental 4006

I also have the Hurricane heat---and love it.  It's way more economical to heat with diesel than to heat with propane.  My opinion is that the Hurricane heaters are very well made and very reliable.  I'm not considering replacing mine.  Check with ITR, International Thermal Research, in Vancouver Wa...
