Re: Seems like this web forum is lightly used now
I have never been on Face Book (and don't intend to do so). But, I have always been curious as to the quality/accuracy of mechanical advice on FB. Ditto, I'm of the same mindset. To add to what you said, I also wonder if FB actually has file storage capabilities, where they have a section to store ...

Re: Skin Corrosion
That is as bad as I have ever seen it, ugly! Mine is worse then that on the passenger side. Previous dealer skim coated it and and painted the RV, looked decent when we bought but started to fall apart within a year. I think the only real fix is to remove all the aluminum on that side, replace the ...

Re: New Shocks my experience
If your following along here, I installed 88-1490SP2 on the front of my 2000 Harney. This MH has a 4 bag setup with a Reyco 240AR rear and something very similar to a Reyco 1212 on the front. Shock length is well suited on the front, allows the air bags to fully extend but not use the bad as the lim...

Re: New Shocks my experience
No the number given are not backwards. Is the suspension pictured the exact suspension you have? A Rayco 1212 front axle calls for a 90 series shock that is 30 inches long fully extended. You stated that you had a Westport axle, so you don't have A Rayco 1212 suspension in a full sense if you have ...

Re: New Shocks my experience
I looked through this entire thread and didn't find my chassis. Looking for the 'correct' shocks for my 2000 Harney motorcoach. Its a 38ft Magnum 4 bag suspension. I replied to your PM with the info you need. Your 4 air bag suspension coach takes the same shocks as the Safari coaches with the Velve...

Re: New Shocks my experience
Brazersl was also jumping into the EVO line when I did a search for that part number. I was able to get 2 from thmotorsports and the other 2 from summit racing. Bummer, you could have saved yourself $20. I had no issues with finding the link to the front shocks at Brazels RV, but at least you have ...

Re: New Shocks my experience
Is your Harney built on a Safari Magnum chassis??? What brand is your front axle? (look on the axle and/or the build sheet) Let me know and we will go from there. The EVO99 series shock (99B-3254) supersedes the Koni 88-1641SP3 and the 8805 series shocks. From the feedback I have received thus far ...
