Re: Silverleaf Upgrade / Transmission ECU

***UPDATE*** Mobile Tech had some down time today and met me at the house... So, tech came out, looked at it for 30 seconds and goes, "I think those two wires with the green ribon go to ground". He used a sacrificial 5 amp blade fuse to test rather than having it arc and blow something, no...

Re: Silverleaf Upgrade / Transmission ECU

Hey all, Sorry for the silence for a bit. It was super wicked cold here and was not up to messing with metal at 17° as a high. So I did buy all new batteries for coach and for house side. so when I connected the coach batteries and stuck the wires on the positive post, oh boy! Sparks everywhere!! Li...

Re: Silverleaf Upgrade / Transmission ECU

3 confused wires.jpg Here are the 3 wires that I thought went to the positive connection (I was 99% positive). When I placed with the positive and then connected the final ground wire I got an are. 3 confused wires.jpg I switched these then to the negative fearing I put on the wrong ones. Battery o...

Re: Silverleaf Upgrade / Transmission ECU

So when I had removed the batteries and then reconnected the battery wires I got them mixed up and got good sparks... Whoops! 2 white wires grouped together are on the negative (I know those two are right) and I have 3 white wires grouped (all fused individually) and I thought they had been wired to...

Re: Silverleaf Upgrade / Transmission ECU

Robert, Your right, I shouldn't have screwed with batteries and grounding the system. I have now created some permanent issues. Yikes. Now the ignition comes on but when I turn the key it doesn't even "click" for the solenoid. I think I am going to look into bringing a professional out to ...

Re: Silverleaf Upgrade / Transmission ECU

Wow Robert, that is fantastic information indeed!! That makes sense that the ECM and ECU are not damaged as it does start and shift to first and reverse. My wife also suggested doing a system rest by pulling cables from batteries and grounding it out then reconnecting. Once I clear the "SERVICE...

Re: Silverleaf Upgrade / Transmission ECU

Hello Mel, Thanks for response. I think our setup is very similar. Yes, I think you are correct that our model appears to be too old to send full information. I plugged in the Bluefire and before starting the rig I pulled the information on the screenshots I am attaching (I took these not knowing it...

Silverleaf Upgrade / Transmission ECU

Hello fellow Safari friends! I ordered the BlueFire 6 Pin adapter for Android last week (This device plugs into the diagnostics port under the dash and sends a wireless communication to a tablet, phone or laptop to create a custom dash). Last week I ran into some issues... I am hoping someone can ma...
