Re: Replacing Exterior Water Heater Door

I just used the door. I kept the bezel. Ir's still in the garage in the original box. It wasn't hard.

Re: What is the Safari model lineup or hierarchy?

Once again people have forgotten that Safari also built Class-C rigs. Not very many left.

Re: Safari Class-C question

I had it fixed by a local Ford mechanic. It was vacuum lines and a major vacuum leak. Got my A/C fixed at the same time. Not cheap, but worth it. No Ford dealers would work on it because it is more than twenty years old. We'll be back on the road this summer. A problem like yours on my wife's car . ...

Safari color

We have a 1998 Class-C. Does anyone know the name of the blue paint color that Safari used back then. I'm attaching a picture of our RV incase someone knows it can be identified. It looks a lot like the color of blue on the bottom of this page. I'll try to get a better picture tomorrow.

Re: 1998 C-Class steering stabilizer issues

So I squeezed enough to see there were three bolts that were holding the stabilizer to the frame. Got it all back together, but haven't driven it. Maybe tomorrow. The snow has finally melted.
I should ask. Are there any other Safari C-Class folks still on this site. Our time may have passed?

1998 C-Class steering stabilizer issues

Yes I know that there are very few Safari Class-C Rigs still on the road. We nave a 1998 24 footer built on a Ford E-SuperDuty frame. The steering stabilizer is shot and I bought a new Bilstein unit to replace the old rusted one that came from the factory. It should be a two bolt job. The mounts are...

1998 class C

If a Safari class c has skin issues can the aluminum skin be replaced? Ours is falling apart, but the rig has less than 40,000 miles.

Safari Class-C question

I realize that Safari Class C's are rare. Mine is a 1998 Ford E=SuperDuty frame. My vacuum system in the Ford part is going nuts. We have no functioning in cab heating, cooling, or defrosting system. All evidence points to the vacuum system and Ford used this system much later than others. Does anyo...

Re: Painting and paint codes

I'll look and see if Class C's have one there. Thanks. I can confirm that there is nothing behind the front seat of a Class C.
