Re: 2000 safari p-30 2430 ac and radio
Be sure you check your grounds before you replace the AC control panel. I had trouble some years ago and chased the problem to rusted/corroded grounds under the front of the coach. The AC control panel portion was part of a larger bundle of grounds.

Toyo tires
I have been running Goodyear 9R22.5 tires but they have aged out. 2 questions: (1) Has anyone tried Toyo Regional Steer M170 tires? They are also listed as 9R22.5. (2) Has anyone used the balancing beads (as opposed to traditional wheel weights) for balancing these tires? Reference vehicle is 97 Saf...

Re: in search of original camera at rear in 97 Safari
I have already listed my coach with pictures on 3 safari Facebook groups: International Safari Motorhome, Safari Motorhome owner's Group and Safari Motorhome Owners (SMC or Monaco). I am having trouble downloading pictures from my phone to my computer right now, but if anyone wants to see pictures y...

Re: in search of original camera at rear in 97 Safari
Hi Mel, Thanks for the note about the camera, but I got one and installed it a couple months ago and it works great. Just like the original one. By the way, I have read many of your posts over the years and they have been very helpful to me. After 22 years, health issues are causing me to sell my 97...

I extended mine out the back. Just maintain a decline as you go toward the back. Having trouble adding images.

Re: in search of original camera at rear in 97 Safari
If it worked when you removed it I'd like to give it a try. What are you asking for the camera?

That looks longer than the original camera in my coach but it may fit. What year coach was it removed from?

Re: in search of original camera at rear in 97 Safari
I don't have a wiring diagram, but this is my understanding of the way the stock camera works: When you flip the rocker switch, the inverter turns on and powers the TV (if it is connected and turned on) AND 12V power is sent to the rear camera to power it up. In my case, when I flipped the camera sw...
