Re: Replace Aquahot heater
Not much more to be said. We spent the winter of 2020-2021 Oct through mid April at Harrisonmills BC. Had a mild winter with only half a dozen nights with temps below freezing and only had significant snow twice. We had a 50 amp connection, so used it exclusively for heating the back end and basemen...

Re: Ralph Andrew's excellent, easy to follow directions on adjusting ride height
Chuck had asked a while back as to where I had purchased my Koni shocks. I thought I had answered, but I can't see my reply, so will try again. Purchased from Ultra RV Products, 3912 Harrison Ave, Centralia WA 98531. Not sure how I found them... but they were quick to deliver. Price for the shocks w...

Re: Ralph Andrew's excellent, easy to follow directions on adjusting ride height
OK...I now have ordered the Koni 88-1458SP1 shocks for the rear. They are to arrive on Monday. I am assuming that I should set them to maximum as I did with the front. John, any thoughts you have on that will be appreciated. The coach is not fully loaded but I will be working on that over the next t...

Re: Ralph Andrew's excellent, easy to follow directions on adjusting ride height
Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far. It is proving, in my mind, very helpful. From what I have read so far, I am planning on the following steps (hopefully before I leave Chilliwack BC in the 3rd week of April.) 1. Replace the rear shocks with koni 88-1458SP1. (currently koni 88-1458SP2) 2...

Re: Ralph Andrew's excellent, easy to follow directions on adjusting ride height
I have just replaced the front shocks with Koni 88-1641SP3. (They were Koni 88-1490SP2 adjusted to full dampen). I just did that this last week and have not had it on the road since then. I am expecting better performance at the front now as the new shocks were much tighter. It took two of us pullin...

Ralph Andrew's excellent, easy to follow directions on adjusting ride height
Like others, I am grappling with the issues of ride and steering quality on my 97 Continental. I suspect my units ride height has never been assessed as it looks like all the shims are still in place. Does anyone know where I can obtain a copy of Ralph Andrews directions for assessing and adjusting ...

Re: Fireplace Insttallation
I have assembled some pictures showing several steps in the installation of the Martin Vented Blueflame heater hereafter referred to as the fireplace. Much is left out, but the steps to be taken were well documented in the instructions which came with the fireplace. There were two models available, ...

Re: Replace Aquahot heater
So, it appears I am limited to four pictures in a posting. There is much discussion could develop from these, but I am not sure how useful they are in helping one understand how we did what we did. After previewing this post, I should reduce the density of the photos which I will do tomorrow. I like...

Re: Replace Aquahot heater
I need to confess this is the first, and probably the only winter I will spend the winter in the MH. Usually we winter in Mesa AZ or Melaque Mexico. This winter experience is a reaction to Covid, and I am expecting to get my vacination before departure time next fall. Having said that, I would not h...

Re: Replace Aquahot heater
I talked to a repair shop outside Edmonton. At the time I felt the costs of repair would be about the same or more than the change I decided to make. Undersand that the existing AquaHot system was not working well. The electric heater part sort of worked, but output from the vents was very poor. The...
