Re: Running Lights wont go off
Had a friend with a Pather had the same problem after he replaced a relay. After checking everything else and a lot of frustration it turned out he replaced the relay with the wrong relay. Some relays turn off the current when power is applied, while most turn the current on when power applied. The ...

Re: 98 Sahara not starting
Looking at your picture of the electrical bay your ignition solenoid is the one mounted just right of center. One side should always be hot, the other side hot when the ignition switch is turned on. I had to replace mine on my 98 Serengeti. Assuming that a previous owner has not rewired everything, ...

Re: 1999 Safari Trek Levelers Question
Good morning. I assume you have the RVA system that we have on our coaches. Two cheap things to check: 1. The fluid for this system is not tied into any other system. The fill for the levelers is on the top of the unit. Mine have all been hard to get to. Without fluid it won't work. 2. There are thr...

Re: Battery Config
This is probably a dumb question, but where are your chassis (engine) batteries located? My Continental has six batteries in the tray but two are 12 volt for the chassis. My Serengeti had six coach batteries in the tray and the two starting batteries mounted on the firewall under the bed. Hard to sa...

Re: 99 Safari Zanzibar Acceleration and Deceleration Loud Noise
We had a fuel problem on our 98 Serengeti and had to have it towed to a shop. I started noticing a vibration whenever I let off the throttle soon after. Everything looked fine but it had not had that vibration before. Drove it and had it inspected everytime we were in a shop. Then I remembered that ...
