Re: Scary find on "J" adapters
In my opinion that is more an "installation problem" than a "J adapter problem".

Re: Roof ladder addition?
Has anyone added a ladder to their coach? I am considering doing so in order to more readily access the roof in a SAFE manner. I think this would best be done by an RV service center such as Camping World. Thoughts from you folks? chuckster Many of us carry a telescoping ladder: https://www.walmart...

Re: in search of original camera at rear in 97 Safari
Hello Everyone, Has anyone replaced their original rear camera with an upgraded version AND still has the original working camera? I am satisfied with the original setup as I primarily use it to check on the toad when traveling. The original camera measures about 4"long x 2.5" x 2.5"...

Re Safarifriends has improved (was: Anyone interested in a Fall 2023 get together?)
Private message me if you are interested in a trip to a climate conducive to temperate weather in September- November period. Possibly a Gulf State or Southwest state. Trying to avoid hot and humid but also select a place with places of interest. Interested? I can lead the effort to select and book...

Re: Seems like this web forum is lightly used now
Our Safari coaches are older now and I notice a huge slowdown in posts around here now. In the last 3 years it has slowed down considerably. What do you attribute this to? chuckster Because of the development of the many Safari RV related Facebook pages/forums Safarifriends.org is no longer the sin...

Re: Need recommendation for bathtub trim
Hello friends, After ripping out the tile and laying manufactured wood flooring in the bathroom, I am in need of some kind of trim that I can wrap around the bottom of the bath tub. Does anyone have any ideas? I visited a local plumbing shop and they didn’t have anything nor could suggest anything....

Re: Fire escape windows - how to use?
 So, what makes these considered emergency windows? Just because they slide open? WOW. Any window with an opening at least 5.7 square feet, 20 inches wide by 24 inches high, and no higher than 44 inches from the floor meets the legal description/requirement of an egress window. see: tinyurl....

Re: Fire escape windows - how to use?
I have an ‘01 Zanzibar 3646 side entry and It looks like there is a window in the living area slide out area that has a red window latch and one in the bedroom but I do not see any escape hatch windows levers. How do these work? I may need to pop one open to get some new 26” wide furniture inside s...

Re: Rubber radiator shroud
My coach as built by SMC had no shroud from radiator to rear cap, however adding/fabricating one, (I used sheet aluminum, ridged foam insulation board and alum foil duct tape), has greatly increased engine cooling capacity, (decreased overheating), without butchering the rear grill.
