Re: Hydraulic parking brake indicating light switch
Hey John, Pretty much what I ended up doing. Made up pigtail adapters for the screw on terminals and installed the switch. WORKS GREAT! Ordered a spade terminal switch for a spare. I am very appreciative for all the great imputs. Was really stressing over what should be a relatively easy fix. Thanks...

Re: Hydraulic parking brake indicating light switch
Hey Lee, Thanks. Could have saved a lot of trouble. Went to 6 different auto parts stores, a bus parts shop and a heavy duty truck repair. The original switch was manufactured by Hobbs Corp. They were bought out by Honeywell. These switches are normally closed and set to open at 35 psi. Rated to 125...

Re: Hydraulic parking brake indicating light switch
Ok. Thanks for all the input. My concern with it is not knowing the operating pressures. Maybe just overthinking it. Thanks again taking the time.

Re: Hydraulic parking brake indicating light switch
Correction Duane,
I hadn't previously mentioned that it is a hydraulic pressure switch. I compare it to a sending unit on an old car. Not knowing the pressures this switch is operating at, I'm having problems doing a cross reference.
Thanks again,
Jay

Hydraulic parking brake indicating light switch
Hi,
I have a 2002 safari Zanzibar with a hydraulic parking brake. ( Not Autopark) There is a dual terminal normally closed switch for the parking brake indicator light. this switch was originally manufactured by Hobbs Corp. Does anyone know a good p/n for a replacement switch?
Thank You,
Jay
