Re: Rear Brakes
I would also check the rubber brake lines.. I've had the rubber brake lines deteriorate on the inside and cause spongy pedal feel on the various old cars / trucks I've had, uneven braking (when on the front), locking up of one wheel or the other. I would guess you just have the one flexible brake li...

Basement Floor rotting
I recently replaced my fresh water pump only to find other things leaking on my 4066 Panter. Upon removing the partitions around the grey/black tanks, the various long term leaks caused the plywood floor to rot and bow, dropping the grey tank down and cracking one of the pips going to it. I have tha...

Solar Charger location 2001 Safari Panther
Looking for the location of the solar charger on my 2001 Safari Panther, if anyone can help me there. Had a GSM chassis battery going bad that smoked my battery isolator, after reading a few articles I decided to eliminate the isolator and echo charger in favor of a automatic charging relay (in addi...

Re: Magnum chassis radius rods
Sorry for the late response and thank you all for the responses. Yes confirmed that is what I have. Single rod on the drivers side which makes sense. I've had a few home projects as of late and time to put some work into the Safari. I'm going to see if the bushings seem worn at all and replace it wi...

Re: Magnum chassis radius rods
Perfect!! .. Just what I was looking for. Thank you. It's interesting that the front of the axle and the frame have mounts for what id call trailing arms which are offset from frame to axle on each side. I would imagine to manage side to side movement as well as front to back. The tiger track kit ca...

Re: Magnum chassis radius rods
I stated I "adjusted" the shims.. (removed them) to get the correct height without supplementing that with pressure in the air bags. I'll get back with the pressures / tire size.. I'll bet that is probably a factor as I believe I'm running all of them ~above 100 psi. I've never had it weig...

Magnum chassis radius rods
Greetings, long time lurker first time poster. I have a 2000 Panther 425 on a magnum chassis for 7 or so years now. In trying to get rid of the coach wandering, I've discovered while installing the tiger track package, that at some point under prior ownership the the front radius rods are missing. W...
