Re: 1993 Safari Serengeti driving batteries going dead
The disco switch is good to have for long periods of park with not plugging in but, if like myself) you keep your coach plugged in but you do not want to have to start the engine occasionally, check out an AmplStart. It will bleed off just a tad of house batterie to the chassis batteries and only wh...

Re: 1993 Safari Serengeti Electrical Configuration
To this end on fridge running off of inverter…should it? Were the Safari’s wired at the fridge to run off the inverter? I think one of our regular members here posted some time back that they had to wire their fridge to the inverter when they replaced their Dometic electric/propane fridge with a res...

Re: Leveling jacks not working
Those who want to clean the actual rockers can use an electroclean aerosol with an attached thin straw to the can and spray into the rocker while working it back and forth. Wd40 makes such an electronic cleaner.

Dash vents replacement
A few of my dash vents are very worn and sloppy and won’t stay in place the direction I point them when bouncing down the road. I have an ‘01 Zanzibar. My ignition key is a GM square. Wondering if it is some GM product for the A/C dash vent and where I might get some.

Re: Leveling jacks not working
Been on the road a couple of weeks and everything still working well. There has been a lot of interest in my coach at campgrounds. People stop and look at it a bit as they stroll by. Not sure why. Maybe because it looks a little retro? Had a conversation with a guy who really liked the “lines”...

Are the 12V lights in the basement storage on chassis battery?
I am looking for a 12V source in the basement to install a portable 12v refrigerator/freezer. I want to use the house batteries and not the chassis (motor) battery supply. I am thinking just tapping off of the basement storage bulb supply with a cigarette lighter socket. Anyone know what battery the...

Re: Care of awning
Hi there. Our fabric is original and is 22 years old and is in pretty good shape although we have only owned it 3 years. We only put it out if we really need it. Usually we get enough shade from trees but not always. Since it seems birds like to sit on it and poo on it, what I do is use a bucket of ...

Re: Levelers Up and Warning Beep Continues
Along the lines of “beeping”, I always get some beeping when the coach is going up a driveway or I go over a bump at a slow turn that causes the coach to rock left or right slightly even though the jacks are up and the RVA jack console has all the switches off. Although annoying at times, I suppose ...

Re: Leveling jacks not working
I started tapping the RVA jack control console switches and it came “alive” and started working so I took the four screws out holding it to the drivers console panel, pulled all the wires off of all the switches and reseated the connections. None of them looked corroded or dirty but I blasted them w...

Leveling jacks not working
Hello SF, Last week my jacks were working just fine in my garage but now they are not. The lights come on in the control panel as normal but attempting to lower them results in no "click", no noise, no anything...DEAD. With the motor key on, in the jack panel "on" position I get ...
