Re: Ride heighth adjustment
'One thing that happened with my Safari is that I had pull to the right when applying brakes. Once the ride height was corrected that pulling disappeared. So it clearly effects steering geometry. Mark1999 Safari 32’ Sent from my iPad On Aug 8, 2019, at 9:13 AM, James Exler jimxexler@... [Safarif...

Re: [Safarifriends] Toad, Dingy, ‘00 Chevy 1500, 4x4
'Robert, I purchased a used Brake Buddy for $150. Right now there are several for sale on my local Craigslist from $300 to $600. In my own opinion it’s a danger to you and any other vehicle to not have an adequate towing capacity with proper brakes on the toad. Mark1999 Safari 32’ Sent from my iP...

Re: HydrroMax Brake Pedal Pressure - what is "Normal"?
'Bob, Hang in there on the knee. It will get better. My metal one is 12 years old. First injury was in 1964 when there was no “scope”. Keep active and they work pretty good. I always called it physical torture instead of therapy. But it’s worth it , cuz it will help the end product. Mark1999 S...

Re: New Solar panel-old charge controller
'Robert, The 13 volts going out to the batteries is normal. The controller is not going to send 17 volts out which could result in overcharging. If you disconnect the output wires you can tell if that’s true output and not battery voltage. The large panel charges the house batteries. The small pa...

'The “contraption” appears to be a SteerSafe. See link http://www.steersafe.com/shop/steer-safe-unit I’ve wondered if those are effective. I have Tiger Trak and Konis on mine but not the contraption. My front Konis were the wrong number so I have new ones waiting for me to install there. I’m re...

Re: just bought a 1998 safari sarengeti and have some questions
'My coach had the same front mounted controller. It also had a cheap controller behind the frig which was accessible from the out side panel. There were 4 Abel’s on the roof secured only by a few tabs of caulking. They produced zero voltage. I’m convinced that the factory setup would do very little...

'Just thought I’d give an update on my rat issue. Also thanks to all who replied. I found one point of entry. The rats had torn thru a heating duct which goes to the bedroom thru the battery compartment. That duct runs thru a sheet metal box over the rear wheels. I replaced that plastic duct ...
