On a previous motorhome I had used a latching solenoid. They use power only to turn on and off. Not while on or off.

I have a 96 Sahara. My park brake valve leaked. I was able to match one up at a truck parts supply.
If like mine the park brake runs off of transmission pressure to release the brake.
