Re: ITR HURRICANE HEATER DIAGNOSIS and REPAIR

The information promised is posted. Hope that it helps. I have put in a concise detailed post by Tom. Also the manual is included. I think you may have a failed impeller on your pump and the motor should be good if it was changed. That is not difficult to change. Just be sure inadvance to get materi...

Re: ITR HURRICANE HEATER DIAGNOSIS and REPAIR

You are most welcome.' My suggestions is "DON'T DO IT", ie change out to the furnace. You are being made a victim of a graduate from the RV specialist Academy of Incompetence. The hurricane heater was sold to the military, it is extremely reliable and field serviceable by you! Look at the ...

ITR HURRICANE HEATER DIAGNOSIS and REPAIR

My Safari Continental had a ITR hurricane heater that ran on diesel fuel, this system also controlled the A/C units. The Hurricane system had a controller board that would not power up. Therefore neither the A/C or heating system was functioning. This presentation shows how to diagnosis of the syste...

Re: Air System

Thank you for the kind comments, sorry, I didn't mean to disregard your question. I was just leaving and in a rush. These presentations are similar to what I have done for corporations, like Freescale (now NXP) and others. I am an electrical engineer and have done this type of work my whole life (en...

The only air that needs to be dry is the air to the dash gauge, and air tools if used. The manifold connections I did allowed all ...

Racor Fuel System Upgrade – Part 2/3

This is part 2 of the 3 part presentation on upgrading the Racor Winn fuel system to the new 790R30 filter system. This section deal with the Golden-Rod filter addition that is before the Racor filter. I added a T connection to the Racor Filter output line to add a vacuum gauge. An alternative would...
