Re: Roof replacement

If it leaks due to failed sealant the roof may not need replacement just resealing. But all the old sealant must be removed. I had massive leaks, 21 out of 22 seal points leaked. The interior roof was compromised in every area. If you look thru the link there are projects on roof repairs that might ...

Slideout Switch

Does anyone have a link for the slideout switch? I bought one that Mel posted but can't find the link from the old site. I need a second for the power reel. Thanks.

Replacing the Center Headbanger Cabinet

The center front cabinet on my 2000 Safari Continental was made for a tube style TV and was a constant source of head injuries when not paid attention to, which was too often. The cabinet was no longer needed to house the old style TV or even the LCD monitor. Therefore the monitor design was changed...

Re: High Resolution Camera System: Driving and Surveillance

I will try that Mel. Thanks for the tip. I also used your idea for the salesman switch... changing it over to the toggle solenoid using the slide out switch. One of my favorite projects with a real payback. It dropped the waste of current when on from 3amps to 0. Thanks again.... Robert

The original console had a cup holder and two interior boxes for stor...

Air Suspension Control and Shock Replacement, 2000 Safari Continental

This is a project for a 2000 Safari Continental 8 air bag system to correct the level control air suspension adjustment and install 6 new shocks. The same principles should apply to coaches with 6 or other air bags. The change was from 6 Bilsten to 6 Koni FSD shock absorbers. https://safaritoonces.o...

Re: Oil Change

Thanks Brett, a very clever way to solve the problem... the best of have seen. I like being able to keep track of the amount of oil visually.

Re: Oil Change

Thanks for posting this Tom. How did you design yours? That is a project I wanted to do as well. The can seems a good way to go. I was thinking of one with filled with copper scour pads and a drain cock.
