Deleting posts, was : Re: Diesel fuel smell, in basement /with furna

'Ken, I believe the welcome to Railsaw was a nice touch. Thanks to you I did get delete to work this time. Kinda new at this computer stuff, always had kids around that knew it inside out and backwards. Is there a reason you did not delete the five posts that were printed in between your reply and R...

Diesle fuel smell replys

'WOW!!! Ten replys in less than 24 hours. I think that is outstanding! It is much more than I expected. This site is GREAT! You guys and gal are GREAT! Even I feel GREAT! My thanks to each of you. (you know who you are!!) Only 2 of the 10 have actually found a fuel leak, or seepage out of fuel lines...

Re: Diesel fuel smell, in basement /with furnace

'I just tried to delete the messages, and parts off the messages, I am not replying to, as you suggested. The mouse highlighting worked but when I pressed "delete", it will not disappearer as it should. (I tried twice).Sorry I do have a question for you: What part of "Diesel fuel smel...

Re: Diesel fuel smell, in basement /with furnace

'Chuck, Thank you for your reply. Apperently seeping fuel lines are more than a rumor. Is it possible that Gary's '94 Sahara (see message #8662), my '96 Sahara, and Chuck's '98 Continental are the only three coaches manufactured in those five years of production that have had diesel fuel smells in t...

Diesel fuel smell, in basement /with furnace

'The first time I use the LP furnace each season, I get a diesel fuel smell in the hot air output. It seems to go away after a few heat cycles. (I may just get used to it). I can also detect a slight diesel fuel odor anytime I open a basement compartment door. Both of these conditions have occured e...

Re: What name do you call your Safari MH?

'When we are using it, I call it "Home". My wife has named it "Schitzaflyin", because of my driveing. Some times we call it "The Cottage". When it breaks down I have other names for it. Mel --- In Safarifriends@yahoogroups.com, "Cary D" wrote: > > Sorry to all...

Re: My sewer is not sweet

'As far as I know there is nothing in any of the drain lines that can be, or needs to be, changed or cleaned unless the drain itself is plugged and will not drain. I do know that after a long period of non use the sink P traps, the same kind of traps that are under your s&b house sinks, can dry ...

Re: Does it get any easier?

'Sven, I didnt find your post obnoxious. I think you are spot on. The best I can hope for is that the prev. owner of the coach I purchased had the common sense and to recognize problems when they occured, the pride of ownership to want his rig to be flawless and the patience and drive/tenacity to ge...

Re: Radiator baffels/shroud/mud flap

'I think that your full width mud flap might have some effect on the the short cycling of air around the bottom of the radiator. It looks to me that short cycling at the bottom is pretty much prevented by the air exiting from under the MH at highway speeds. The lack of a mud flap might help in that ...
