Re: with propane gas off, turn all appliances off when traveling
Mac The Fire Guy used to travel the country giving fire safety classes at RV rallies. He's left us with a legacy of YouTube videos that explain the hazards of RV fires - one of them is linked to on the webpage you referenced in your post - https://youtu.be/HJMTQWWoMSw He explains in the video there ...

Re: Under-sink water filtration cartridge systems
This is only for a small spigot on your sink to fill a glass with water. The flow isn't going to be that great - it's rated at 1/2 gallon per minute. I figure you've seen the warnings: Precautions: WARNING: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate...

If you must add water to your battery manually buy one of these battery water fillers. Re: Bug screens
I've had bad luck using the white nylon wire ties outdoors. The age pretty quickly, get brittle and break. I'd recommend some stainless steel wire for a permanent fix or at least use the black wire ties which don't become brittle so fast. The mud dubbers around my area cause all sorts of summer prob...

Re: 1998 Trek 454 Exhaust Manifold Cracked
Years ago I had a 1984 Monaco MH with a 454. One of the plug wires went bad and as that cylinder dupe raw fuel into the header, it overheated and cracked it. Buying another cast iron header for around $250 at the time didn't seem wise as the same thing was probably going to repeat itself. I bought a...

Re: Costco's Interstate GC2 Battery Story
Thanks for the reply John, Xantrex could certainly provide a lot more information in their manuals (or anywhere else). I like knowing what I'm doing and the theory behind it This is my first MH with an inverter and I haven't used it for much of anything but keeping the batteries charged as a result ...
