Re: Engine does not start, transmission selector problem

John, sorry I didn't see your last message (don't have wifi at the camping, so it's a little bit complicated for me to follow the discussion). No, they didn't fully charge the batteries at the store. The guy took a measure (I don't know which one) that was apparently sufficient for him to say it wou...

Re: Engine does not start, transmission selector problem

I wanted to report about my problem. The guy that sold me batteries yesterday did not verify (me neither!) if the terminals have the good shape. When I removed the caps at the camping, I realized that they have not (new have this big conical shape, mine had a smaller diameter). I’ll have to go the s...

Re: Engine does not start, transmission selector problem

Thank you Mr Mel, I will go for the same. They found 950 in the group 31, commercial. They are not deep cycle though, does it matter?

Re: Engine does not start, transmission selector problem

Hi again It seems that you ate right again. I am at an automotive store to check the batteries and they tell me that they are dead. My batteries are 1000A but they only have 800A (150$) or 1080A (400$). I don't know if 800 is sufficient or not. Your advice would be very welcome! Regards Patrick Safa...

Engine does not start, transmission selector problem

Hi to everyone I need your help again and now for a more serious problem than my microwave not working! We left yesterday for a week trip and at the first stop at a gas station I made a pause. When I tried to restart the engine, I heard this noise that I thought is characteristic of low battery. I s...

Re: Microwave + kitchen light don't work

Thank you to all of you, Duane, John and Patrick. You were right, there was a button on the inverter (many actually but only the output button was not pushed completely). I pushed it and this resetting solved the problem.
Thanks again for your help

Microwave + kitchen light don't work

Hi, On shore power, the microwave and the kitchen lights of my Safari Sahara 96 don't work. Same for the GSCI electrical outlet of the kitchen (I tried to push on the reset button of the outlet but it doesn't "click" like I would expect). Does anyone know the fuse that these appliances cor...
