Re: Converting Exterior running lites to LED
most of the time you can replace with an LED 194 bulb. I am not sure you gain much by doing so. Seems the reflectors/lenses don't do as well with LED bulbs. The marker lights that are LED usually have a strip of LEDs to give out a nice light.

I am referring more to the suspension, like the rear track bar or the bushings in the control arms.

Re: lube chassis Magnum
Just under 40k on the odometer. Things are so large its hard to get enough leverage on anything to check for play. I don't see any of the bushing cracking out or starting to come apart.
I do get all the steering and fan hub zerts every year.

DEX II power steering fluid
Fixing an oil leak I had to remove the power steering pump. I need to replace the lost fluid. The res says DEX II. I assume that DEX III fluid will be fine. Anybody know anything different or if DEX VI would be ok. Strange to me that it says DEX II since research tells me that it was replaced in the...

Re: Power Steering line
There is a three wire sensor on the other side of the motor that CAT supplies for the ECM. I do have a oil pressure light that I see when the key is in the run position. I am sure that this is what this switch is providing. There must be another sensor somewhere else that provides input for the oil ...
