Re: air filter
I believe the Fleetguard filter number is AH19014 and last I looked it was a bit cheaper than the NAPA filter. Yes, Hal, I also use Fleetguard filters (air, fuel, and oil). The Modern Shop http://shop.moderngroup.com/ usually has very good prices on Fleetguard filters. They are a good outfit to dea...

Re: 1998 Trek 454 Exhaust Manifold Cracked
Brett, would this be fuel injected? Bill Edwards Bill, The Chevy 454 was fuel injected throughout the nineties. The question is, was whether the original posters engine was multiport fuel injection or throttle body fuel injection. Multiport began in '96 as a Vortec 7.4L, so as Brett said, unless it...

Re: air filter
Don,
Duane is correct, the Wix filter number is: 546857 Napa is the same number without the first digit (5). And the filter and housing is all one unit.

Re: 1998 Trek 454 Exhaust Manifold Cracked
Have a 1998 Trek 2480 with the 454 7.4L Gas engine. Cracked the driver side exhaust manifold all the way around. The question is should I replace the manifold or go with the Banks system with headers? Dave, I don't know what is enclosed in a Banks Power system that you are looking at, but usually m...

Re: Looking for info on an SMC Slide where support beams go through Frame rail
Mike, Welcome to the group. The diagrams you have attached appear to be the correct ones for your application. Yes, SMC did make there own slides, and they did use parts made by other manufacturers, like HWH and RVA. That said, your coach is an '05, so it was already built by Monaco, not by SMC. As ...

Re: RACOR FUEL SYSTEM UPGRADE
Bill and Robert, Logically, things are not quite adding up. Having cracks in the suction hose that goes be between the primary filter block and the pump, will not cause air to enter into the primary filter, nor cause the filter to be only a quarter full. If your primary filter is getting air into it...

Re: Propane overfill
Yesterday I was busy checking in to a park and didn't pay attention to the guy filling my propane tank and it shows way over full. He put in 28 gallons until his pump stopped and I think my tank is 50 gallons (96 Serengeti) and it was 1/4 full before filling. After, the gauge showed past the last f...

Re: We can finally put signature blocks
One major improvement of this over Yahoo that should hopefully ease some confusion - we can add signature blocks to our profile now! I know it makes it far easier to help when we know what an individual is writing about, and that it's really easy to forget in the quest for answers. Yes, hopefully m...
