As it ages/absorbs moisture, it turns tan and eventually almost black. What chassis are you on?? THAT will determine where your master cylinder/reservoir are located....

Re: Cummins Water Pump

Have you called Cummins with your engine serial number or looked on their website using your engine serial number?

Re: Pacbrake issues

Assume you have the small 12 VDC air compressor-- may be above the rear axle. NOT a good location IMO. I moved mine to the back driver's side compartment and wired it through a relay so the pressure switch merely closes the relay, vs running all current for the pump through it. Actual voltage to the...

Re: Gasoline generators

All I have ever seen were propane generators.

Can't imagine having to store an additional fuel source, put up with gummed up carb, etc.

Re: Cost of Manifold shaved and new gasket

Indeed, a Panther model with 3126 is VERY unusual. C12 was the normal engine.

Re: Cost of Manifold shaved and new gasket

What part of the country are you in-- that will help with determining labor rate. How rusted/corroded are the exhaust manifold bolts? Are you going to spray a good penetrating oil on them for at least a week before the work. It is broken bolts that can materially add to labor time/cost. Certainly no...

Re: Changing trans fluid

No, there is no "reservoir" for the transmission.

Likely Power steering fluid= Dexron

Trace hose from the reservoir. Likely goes to engine-driven pump.
