Fuel System - Air in the Fuel Lines: CAT 3126B
This post is about finding the fuel problems that caused the CAT 3126B engine to falter, die, and then fail to start. Changes were made to the fuel system that highlighted a deterioration that had occurred in the fuel line from the main tank. This shows how the problem was diagnosed and corrected. h...

What purpose does it serve? Is that to stop electrolysis between the alloy rim and steel hub? I'll put...

Plumbing Changes - Kitchen Sink
The grey water plumbing under the kitchen sink needlessly took up a lot of space. The abs plumbing parts are non-standard fittings, these were changed to common abs fittings found at any plumbing isle in a building supply store. Additionally the very heavy flexible drain pipe was changed to a more f...

Re: Check engine Light
This may be air in the input fuel feed line from the tank. I had this and just changed out the lines. My 3126B would not run above 1,000 rpm I traced it to a breakdown in the fuel line. The line is under a vacuum. To see if this a problem insert a clear poly diesel line before the first filter. You ...
