Re: in search of original camera at rear in 97 Safari
I left my dead camera in place, used the power to it for the new camera and all is well using the same switch to power it on and off.

Re: Thermostat Control Positions
Hi John, No issues with the old analog Dometic thermostats other than the psychological assurance that we can know that if we want to feel 70 degrees inside the coach that we can set 70 degrees on the digital thermostat. I am thinking that perhaps it would be best to leave the old ones in place and ...

Re: LPG wall oven for cabinet install
Hi John, The old microwave was probably a replacement of the first one and was also convection that had a manufacturer date 2010. It was giving us issues before I began the renovation. At the “urging” of my better half, I replaced it. That, in itself, was an adventure. Because I went with a la...

Hi John, Thanks for the info and the link. I already ordered a replacement from Walmart. Should be here in a few days at which time I will pop it in and check to see if the Intellitec power providing 12V to the 12V panel removes (and provides) the 12V at the panel. I am not too concerned about paras...

Re: Thermostat Control Positions
I never did try this Honeywell digital thermostat to replace the Dometic thermostat in the living room and bedroom. I never got any feedback or direction on this so If you are willing to review the thread and respond, I shall be grateful. I assume that the Dometic thermostat in the back only control...

Re: LPG wall oven for cabinet install
I ended up scuttling the oven idea and went with a RecPro 1.1 cu. ft. convection microwave to replace the old microwave.

Re: “House” and “Power” switches in entryway
So I finally pulled the switch plate off and checked continuity of the on-off-on momentary rocker "house" switch. The continuity tests work in both directions. The 6-terminal switch has printed on it "C1572AA" and is a 16A 250V switch. Not sure if something could be wrong with th...

Nice, Jim. Thanks for sharing.
Do we have a 2001 Safari Zanzibar brochure? I have one in my repertoire.
