Re: Rmovimng Coach Wheels (was Master cylinder location, etc)
A wheel or a couple of wheels, (and 3 times all 6 wheels), have been off my coach a number of times during the 13 years I've owned it. But I haven't had an air impact wrench since '98, (when my home and shop where lost in a total loss fire), and I never had a 500 ft/lb torque wrench or a torque mul...

Re: Temperature sensors
Gary, I discovered this as soon as I drove it. Almost 20 degrees hotter on the analog gauge. Did you find if the digital/computer is accurate or not? Re: Water temperature (was: Radiator Cap?)
Hmm.... interesting. I wonder if this one does the same thing? Guess I won't test it to see if that is the case. I'm sure if your 96 has it, then my 01 ought to, but then they are not the same engine. On Mon, Nov 24, 2014 at 3:06 PM, stuplich@... [Safarifriends] wrote: Lorne At 230 degrees F my 31...

Re: Water temperature (was: Radiator Cap?)
I am very concerned that many folks seem to be confused and unaware of the serious damage that can result from overheating due to fouled radiators and engine blocks and/or low pressure radiator caps. I will try to bring some clarity to the subject. I am a Chemical Engineer with over 50 years of re...

Re: Moving On
Greetings all. Been really busy the last two month. We sold our Sahara and after a long search for a Trek (and offers on 3) we went in another direction-- just bought a 2003 Alpine 38'. We really wanted to downsize, but the pricing on the Treks was so far above NADA retail that it really scared us...

Re: front end alignment
' I had found a truck repair shop that still did toe alignment .they checked it and said the toe was good. They couldn't do the camberI wanted to try this before spending big bucks on the laser alignment. I eventually would like to have it done because I think the alignment front to rear would be a ...

We've been redoing the front cap due to clear coat flaking off. Finished the paint today. Now it's time to put it all back together.
