Re: Water Heater Issue

Yes I bet you got an igniter unit it's that thicker red wire that sort of looks like a thin spark plug wire, that's your igniter wire. Follow it and you'll find the igniter unit up on the wall under the cabinet...in my Serengeti it's behind the Lazy Susan.

Re: Locating fresh water pump.

Yep, there's a panel in the basment that separates the pump and plumbing area from the basment. Behind the valves. The pump is easy to rebuild, and the kits are substantially less than a new pump. I've rebuilt several Shur Flo pumps over the years. Also the strainer tends to gunk up real bad with bl...

Hello all, it's been a while since i posted here, but I am back. I have the 1996 Serengeti CAT pusher. Has anybody run into the "10 Year Rule" at campgrounds. That is, when you go to make your reservation and you inform them of the year of your RV (and they DO ask), you get declined becaus...

Re: Interior CFL to LED replacements..

Yea that's what I was wondering.... I saw this and know that finding 12V replacements would be the best way to go - I like the LED Light strips I've installed but as I mentioned, the adhesive comes lose sometimes. I am wondering if these bulbs COULD easily be modified. The price seems OK for me, and...

Interior CFL to LED replacements..

I started replacing some of the CFL tubes with the strip-lighting, but the adhesive seems want to loosen over time. There are LED replacement 'tubes' that I found on Amazon. Has anybody tried these? "Fulight Rotatable LED F15T8 Tube Light-18-Inch (17-3/4 Inches Actual Length) 1.5FT 7W (15W Equi...

Re: Onan Muffler replacement and source?

'Update: I was looking around for a muffler and it occurred to me that a muffler for this sort of application, well, is a muffler. I checked YouTube and found many different solutions, several of which were replacing the existing muffler (that is blown out) with an ATV or motorcycle muffler. Tractor...
