Re: Bug screens
Tom, Just saw the the Chinese have adapted a drone to be a flying flamethrower to take care of nests up in trees. Must not have forest fires. We've always had bees, wasps and mud daubers but a couple of years ago I got stung on two occasions from both the ground and in buildings. Early morning with ...

Re: Best residential-style refrigerator?
Your Notsocold 1200 is under recall, a new one. https://norcold.com/recall-information/ One new option is 12v https://www.dometic.com/en-us/us/products/food-and-beverage/refrigerators/rv-refrigerators, but it is probably smaller than your opening. Check out https://www.ajmadison.com/refrigerators/ w...

Re: Check engine Light
The first thing I would check is the thermostat, regulator in CAT talk. They are supposed to be changed out every three years. Mine went bad on the way home about 200 miles out. Cooled down and kept an eye on the temp. The regulator fell apart as I removed it.

Try this search: https://rvs.oodle.com/used-rvs/madison-wi/?q=Safari+Trek&oldq=Safari+Trek&inbs=1&r=country&query=Safari+Trek Or https://www.searchcraigslist.org/ to search all of craigslist, use caution I believe there is another group more Trek specific. Good luck in your search.

Re: 93 continental. want to add steering stabilizer. Any thoughts
John is right about getting everything right first. The reason I put a safe-t-steer on was an extra protection in case of a blowout. Read / watch the install instructions before you buy, mine was hard to get centered. Remember, if you have a blowout don't brake, accelerate to gain control then slow ...

If your thermocouple is the problem take it out and polish the end with a crisp dollar bill. Sounds strange but it worked for me on the heater element in our first motor homes air conditioner. A friend showed me the trick, it was still working five years later when I sold it.

Put on some gloves and try rocking the top out and lifting up, could be a screw or flange blocking removal. Or, cut an access hole from a side cabinet, then make a new cover panel for the hole. Reminds me of a house I bought that had a none functioning 30 inch washing machine in a half bath. The roo...

Don't use high pressure, you will bend the radiator fins. Use dawn as a grease remover, flush with water. If you use anything else make sure it is compatible with aluminum, some simple green is not safe to use. Use only PacBrake lube, don't think camping world carries anymore, ordered mine from Amaz...
