Re: Looking for info on an SMC Slide where support beams go through Frame rail

YES It is a Monaco built coach built, 2005, upon left over chassis inventory from the SMC bankruptcy. I think it was a change made by Monaco in lieu of using the J II unit which they discontinued the use of. John may have a good point in that REV group may have what you are looking for. Bill Edwards...

Re: RACOR FUEL SYSTEM UPGRADE

John, is technically, and figuratively correct. The visual air in the filter bowl typically comes from the weak assembly points of this part of the Racor unit. Yes the fuel hose between the two is an even bigger culprit because it's air infiltration cannot be seen cannot be seen. Thanks to John for ...

Re: RACOR FUEL SYSTEM UPGRADE

Tom, No the hose from the tank has no suction on it, it is gravity flow only. I can assure you, you do not want to do anything with that one. The hose being referred to runs from the fuel pump mounted on the engine right side to the output of the Racor filter unit. It is a suction line and sucks fue...

Re: upgrade thermostat Penguin II

I am in the middle of changing the front AC unit to a Dometic 13K btu and/heat pump. I may have screwed up in changing to Dometic which was not intentional. I ordered a thermostat that I have deemed unusable and will change/return to PPL. What I did find was the OEM control box as shown in the previ...

Re: Ask Me How I Know

Brett, I could not agree more and something rarely done. It could be highly amusing if one allows the curtain to open. With this in mind, when questions are asked by those being solicited to help solve problems, please answer them. They may seem misplaced but most of the time it may speed up finding...

Re: RACOR FUEL SYSTEM UPGRADE

It could be added here that originally the micron rating of the primary filter was 30 micron. It is not necessary to add the additional filter Robert has added as the 790 unit has a clear bowl under the filter so in effect he has added some redundancy. One change made by whom ever builds the Racor f...

Re: run time

Don, In addition to Brett’s answer, the inverter need not run for those two fans since the fridge is 12 volts and the fans are no doubt 12 volts and powered from the 12 volts inside the fridge since there is no 120 inside the unit. There is no need for the inverter producing 120 volts unless you are...
