Re: New Shocks my experience

I looked through this entire thread and didn't find my chassis. Looking for the 'correct' shocks for my 2000 Harney motorcoach. Its a 38ft Magnum 4 bag suspension. I replied to your PM with the info you need. Your 4 air bag suspension coach takes the same shocks as the Safari coaches with the Velve...

Re: Looking For New Sway Bar End Links For 1991 Safari Serengeti

I don't think the type of engine will make a difference on what sway bar links you need. Give Freightliner a call. Sounds like the dealer misrepresented the coach, if he put it in writing, stating that it was a 8V92, then you should have legal recourse if you choose. The 8.2L engine is a strange one...

Re: Looking For New Sway Bar End Links For 1991 Safari Serengeti

8V92 is very rare in a Safari coach, so you got a unique one. I would call Frieghtliner with your chassis and/or VIN numbers. They should be able to get the part for you or at least give you the needed dimensions. You could also take the parts to a suspension supplier and they should be able to find...

Re: Charging Lithium batteries with stock alternator

Tom, I would suggest to use a dc to dc charger that has the capability to charge Lithium. Lithium batteries are very low resistance and would put a very heavy load on the alternator, creating a lot of heat, which drastically shortens the alternator life, if it does not out right fry it from the get ...

Re: 2001 Safari Zanzibar Electrical wiring burnt - Need diagrams schematics

This past Sunday I was driving and my exhaust brake engaged light stayed on when I turned off the exhaust brake. It did stay engaged I could not accelerate. I pulled over to shut it down and restart, thinking that might reset things. Then I was unable to start it, I believe due to the exhaust brake...

Re: Power steering moan

Hi Guys, This is not a new subject but I am still needing help. I have typical Sheppard M80 gearbox with hydro-boost brakes and a Vickers vane pump on a Cat 3126 engine. My steering moans really loud when I make turns at slow speeds especially when using the brakes. We are in the Seattle area. Gett...

Re: No Headlights

Can someone tell me where the fuse is for the running lights please! I can get them to come on so my backup camera is not working either. Please post the year make and model of your coach, as they are very different between certain year categories. To prevent this kind of issue it would be benefici...

Re: 1995 Sahara

John, the label on the wall by the drivers seat says 115 lbs front as of back in my 98 Sahara. Would you suggest lowering my pressure? Chuck, The label shows inflation for a maximum loaded coach on both axles, most often showing the maximum tire inflation number of the particular brand and size tir...
