The location of the engine serial numbers is usually on the timing gear cover, right by the injection pump.

How long were you at that campground? If you arrived the night before, there might have been enough residual heat in the coolant that did allow the system to engage the heat cycle...

What series are your Kwiki steps? Try this Dorman part number, she if it visually matches. part number 742-273 Also, the gear assembly has these plastic cylindrical plugs that tend to jam up when they get oblong. These are the part numbers for my rig, which is the same year as yours. On my coach the calipers and pads are the same front to back. I would highly recommend Fleetguard oil filters for your Cummins. Not only are they a high quality filter, but Cummins uses Fleetguard as their OEM filter. You measure from the bottom of the belt line to the center of each wheel, at all for corners, coach completely level, fully loaded for travel.

Welcome to the Safari world!
Usually those get between 8 and 9 mpg, but if you have mountain grades and/or a head wind, all bets are off. If you go 60 to 65 your mileage should improve.
