Dash A/C Part Numbers

Post by jplante4 »

I can't remember if it was here, on Yahoo or Facebook, but someone posted the part numbers for the dryer and expansion valve for the dash A/C system. I replaced the compressor over the winter and finally got around to having the system filled only to find out that the expansion valve is not. I figured I'd do the dryer at the same time.

Anyone want to share these part numbers? 1996 Sahara

TIA

Jerry,
Acme Air has the expansion valve # 4103005 for $44.50, but I'm sure that it's available elsewhere, plus they have a receiver/dryer # 4103052 for $38.50. I was able to get my stuff on ebay for a decent price, but you have to do some searching sometimes to get stuff to match what yours looks like. (I'll be honest - I used Acme Air to look and see what stuff was "supposed" to look like then went online and started searching for who had it for good pricing - I did get a few things from them as well as a side note).

Hope this gives you some help/direction

Usually they take 4 to 5lbs. Fill 3.5 to 4lbs and then slowly top of if the gauges show that it needs more.
