I started replacing some of the CFL tubes with the strip-lighting, but the adhesive seems want to loosen over time.

There are LED replacement 'tubes' that I found on Amazon. Has anybody tried these?

"Fulight Rotatable LED F15T8 Tube Light-18-Inch (17-3/4 Inches Actual Length) 1.5FT 7W (15W Equivalent), Cool White 4000K, Double-End Powered, Frosted Cover, Works from 85-265VAC.."

https://www.amazon.com/Fulight-Rotatabl ... B0114FSQGY

AND

Fulight Easy-Installing ¤ F8T5/CW LED Tube Light - 12" (11-3/4" Actual Length) 1FT 4W (8W Equivalent), Cool White 4000K, Double-End Powered, Frosted Cover- 110/120VAC

https://www.amazon.com/Fulight-Easy-Ins ... B013OXZX2E

Looks like a good price, wondering if they are good...

Those Fulight LED Tubes need 85-265VAC, and/or 110/120VAC, to work.
IMO, for maximum efficiency, you should use LED replacements that operate on 12VDC, (battery voltage): https://tinyurl.com/tvmuux8

Yea that's what I was wondering.... I saw this and know that finding 12V replacements would be the best way to go - I like the LED Light strips I've installed but as I mentioned, the adhesive comes lose sometimes. I am wondering if these bulbs COULD easily be modified. The price seems OK for me, and I'm one to tinker. I may order one and see how difficult it would be to convert it to 12V. It DOES have to have a 12V side, and if it's easily bypassed the (AC side), then I may be on to something. IF, however, you or anybody knows of a direct replacement 12V LED plug in, that would be great! :D

Changeout to 12v is very simple. You just remove the circuit board that converts the DC 12v input to 120v AC.

If you have questions please let me know. I changed all the 120v flourescent lights and 12V incandescent lights to LED. It is not hard but there are some misteps that can be avoided.

This link might give you some ideas.
