Need help finding cabinet trim, PLEASE.

I recently took out the cabinet that came across the kitchen sink and blocked the view from the kitchen into the living room and driving area. I posted some pictures in the “Coach Upgrades & Updates” forum area.

I need a couple of feet of the cabinet trim that is you shaped and I am striking out at finding any from RV salvage yards online. I have emailed most of the RV salvage places that I could find and only a few have replied saying they don’t have any and don’t know where I could get some. I would really like to carry that trim across from the kitchen into the living area so that I can have that done as I begin cabinet renovation. I know that there are some other creative things that can be done there but my wife would really like that to flow.

So I am asking the Safarifriends family to help me locate a piece of this trim so that it makes my wife happy and I can get started with the cabinet repainting and replacing the hinges and handles as part of our interior renovation. If you know anyone that has an old Safari laying around they are parting out or if you find any Safari motorcoach that has that trim would you please let me know?

It might be easier to go into a millwork shop and see if they can make you a piece of trim to match.

Have you tried going online and looking at the RV wrecking yards?

For hours to no avail. Most emails answered by RV salvage yards “Sorry. No gots.”

Hi Mel. I didn’t even think about it being something standard. I will have to look into that. Thanks very much for the reply and the pic with dimensions.

If you aren't a woodworking or handy person, take it to a cabinet shop.
