Class C roof/wall seam. Tape?

Hi, have read the roof to wall seam on the Class C is prone to leak due to attachment method, e.g. hardware mounted too high.

My coach has minor wall deformed areas from water. Thinking to upgrade the seam with 4” to 8” tape like EternaBond or FlexSeal. Is this a good means to reduce water? If so, how wide tape, how many inches on roof, and how many on the wall? Any pre-tape prep or application tips? If not, what’s best way to improve?

Thanks!

On my class A, I used 6 inch Eternabond vinyl backed tape for the end caps seems, and I cut the tap in half length wise for vent fans and other places that did not need as much tape width. Without seeing the type of roof/wall seem I can't really recommend the with or the application of the tape. I do highly recommend Eternabond tape, it has worked very well on my coach.
