Roof ladder addition?

Has anyone added a ladder to their coach? I am considering doing so in order to more readily access the roof in a SAFE manner. I think this would best be done by an RV service center such as Camping World.

Thoughts from you folks?

I took my ladder off and went with a telescoping ladder instead - far more secure, and I can move it if I only need to look at something on one side versus having to get up on top to look. I avoid being up on top of mine any more than I have to (just a personal thing here). That being said, if you do decide you want to have one installed, avoid CW. The quality of work that most of their facilities does now is beyond miserable, and when they screw something up, it takes forever for them to admit it, then even longer for them to fix it. 30 years ago CW used to be good installers and stood behind their work - not so much now. Just my .02 and observations over time!

Getting down FROM the roof on one of those telescoping ladders has got to be darn right scary!

Yeah, I’ve heard CW can be a real crap shoot.
