Maybe we need a section for part numbers.

Or do we just post them to section we think they belong in?

I agree and think we need a category just for them. I know that I've got an actual spreadsheet I built with the various part numbers and manufacturers so that I have a "quick reference" list. I think a lot of people would find it beneficial, myself included.

Good idea and shock numbers come up as a frequently asked subject.

I have a 2000 Safari, Sahara 30, 300 hp Cat. going to replace front and rear brake calipers and best pads , looking to find out what calipers they are. All ready replaced all brake lines with new and replaced master cylinder and aux. with new. I have a Magnum frame and velvet ride suspension. Wanted part #'s so I could change without a wait . This is my first time writing in to Safarifriends.
Thank You

Greg,
From our own Bill Edwards, here's info that was in Coach Talk:
1999 through 2002 all SAFARI, BEAVER & HARNEY
except MARQUIS & TREK
Front Caliper SO 180375
Rear Caliper MVA3263Y1195
Front Pads MV7655D786
Rear Pads MVPECMD225

The pads were made by Abex. I'm sure if you use the search function in the top right you'll find even more info, and there are several files with this in them as well.

These part numbers fit most Safaris from '96 onward (also for some, '95 Serengeti and Continental). Some of the late model ('99 onward?) Serengeti, Zanzibar, and Continental coaches used different caliper and pads.

Larger Brakes (10 lug wheels):
Caliper (NAPA part #) : SE8556 (Dayton 2.88 inch bore).
Brake pads are NAPA part # UP-7149-M (D236)

Again, these are NAPA part numbers, but by using the information in parenthesis, you can get the parts in most auto parts stores.

It seems Ecolite is not manufacturing air filters any longer for me 05 Safari Gazelle C9 Cat. Any recommendations on where to find a replacement air filter. I believe my new to me coach is well past it’s life.
