Safari Front SS Panel

I have a 1999 Safari Sahara which had a stainless steel panel on the front with an oval hole in the middle which allowed view of a Lion in the back. The panel got destroyed in an accident and the body shop replaced it with a plastic one that is unsatisfactory. I am in the process of having a new one made and would like to find out the thickness of the original panel from an owner that might have one.
