Hi I’m John. I purchased this Serengeti a week ago. It was pretty much a one owner coach in the Sacramento area. I’m in Sonoma.
Looks like it has the deep sump oil pan ( more on that later). And the flobber tube has been previously extended. I took it in for generator oil change and cat330 oil change. I had the 4 point pin trailer connector upgraded to the round 7 point, I had Freon added to the dash air, so it’s working now, will try and find leak later with dye. Other things not working and will discuss later. Looking forward to some help on fixing things myself.
My first motor home was a 1987 Holiday Rambler Imperial 36 with a Ford 460. I was the second owner of that one as well, which I had for 10 years. Then I had a large travel trailer which I bought new and sold in 12 hours after buying the Serengeti.
