possable replacement taillights?

Has anyone VERIFIED whether/if 4 of these Hella 5603 Series lights (1st pic) will work as a replacements for the 3 hard to find/impossibly expensive Safari tail lights? (2nd pic).

If memory serves me, those same tail lights are used by a Ford or Chevy pickup trucks from about 2000?
(However I can’t remember the year or model.)
